Carrefour uses the Blackhawk network for gift cards

Branded payment provider Blackhawk Network Tuesday January 11, in partnership with a grocery retailer Carrefour Group to manage its third-party gift card program in France, Belgium, Poland, Italy, Spain, Romania, Argentina and Brazil, which expands distribution around the world.

Carrefour will now offer gift cards from international and local brands, including retail chains and gaming and entertainment platforms.

This expanded collaboration with Blackhawk Network “will enable the Carrefour group to deliver global efficiency and growth from a unified approach,” according to the joint announcement. As part of this partnership, Carrefour will intensify its current cooperation with the biggest brands.

Blackhawk Network will provide the branded gift card program for Carrefour as a fully managed service in France, Belgium, Poland, Italy, Spain, Romania, Argentina and Brazil, including chain management procurement, operations and customer service.
