North Miami Beach officials issue Publix gift cards for residents impacted by COVID-19 – WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, FLA. (WSVN) – Residents of North Miami Beach who have been impacted financially due to the pandemic will soon be able to receive help.

On Thursday, North Miami Beach officials began handing out $150 Publix gift cards to residents who can prove they experienced hardship due to COVID-19.

Gift cards will be issued to residents on a first-come, first-served basis until Saturday.

All giveaways begin at 8 a.m. and will take place on the following dates while supplies last.

Friday:
Allen Park / DeLeonardis Youth Center
1770 NE 162 St., NMB, FL 33162

Saturday:
Uleta Park Community Center
386 NE 169 St., NMB, FL 33162

No walk-in service. If you have any questions, call 305-957-3605 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To receive a gift card, you must have experienced financial hardship due to COVID-19 and show proof of residency by providing state-issued identification (containing an NMB address). You will be considered ineligible if you provide an address outside of North Miami Beach (based on Miami-Dade County map records or invalid ID).
