Ridgefield ECDC hosts Tiger Shark Tank, winners receive room gift cards!

Calling all Ridgefield contractors for “Tiger-Shark Tank”

Ridgefield-based entrepreneurs and business owners can pitch their business idea to a panel of notable international business leaders, well-known national entrepreneurs, private equity investors and Ridgefield ECDC members on Wednesday October 26 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ridgefield Library.

The panel will vote for the top ideas and award Ridgefield Chamber gift cards to the top ideas.

The Ridgefield ECDC encourages anyone who lives in Ridgefield, or has a business in town, to present at the event, such as a home-based business, main street business (retail, restaurant or other), manufacturing , service, technology , or any business! The pitches can be for a new idea for the expansion of an existing business. High school and college students are welcome.

Entrepreneurs who pitch will receive feedback from real private investors; this is a great opportunity to practice your pitch!

Winners will receive gift cards from the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce. The winning entrepreneur will receive $1,000 in gift cards, the runner-up will receive $500, and third and fourth place will receive $250 each.

The Ridgefield ECDC (Economic and Community Development Commission) seeks to help foster a vibrant entrepreneurial community.
